Pet Resource Centre

The Pet Resource Centre is designed to provide resources and services to pet parents in the Hunter and Central Coast regions experiencing challenges in keeping their pet(s). It aims to keep pets out of the sheltering system and provide a safe, judgment-free zone for anyone in need.

  • Pet Food Bank

We can provide food, treats, bowls, and other essential items via one of our Human Support Partners.

  • Community Desexing Program

We can provide preventative veterinary care to pet parents in our community who can’t access it financially due to personal circumstances.

  • Urgent Vet Assistance

SafetyNet PetAssist™ helps people who need to care for their sick or injured pet. Their services are subsidised via their vet network.

  • Community Pet Support Program

Providing essential pet supplies in key community neighbourhoods to support the pet parents who need it most.

  • Emergency Boarding

We can provide up to 2 to 4 weeks of emergency pet care for your best friend while you time to get on your feet.

  • Foster Care Program

We can provide a warm, loving place in our foster network for 1-3 months so that you can focus on getting support.
